My first trip to Put-in-Bay!

Yesterday a few of us from work left at 1 p.m. and headed over to Put-in-Bay. There were some milestone birthdays in our office (2 40's and a 30) and they wanted to go to PIB to commemorate their big days. I was stoked, I had never been to PIB before. And the best part was my boss said we could leave work early to go!

We took the 2 p.m. Miller Ferry out of Catawba or Marblehead or wherever that is. First we went to Frosty's, then to the Roundhouse, then the Boathouse, then somewhere where we sat outside, then to the Boardwalk and then back to the Roundhouse. The weather was great -- sunny, but a tad warm. The boat ride over was perfect. I only had a beer at Frosty's and then the last time we went to the Roundhouse, I did a Jager Bomb for good measure :) I drove those of us who live in the Norwalk area, so I couldn't drink too much, which was fine. Since it was my first time there, I wanted to take it all in. The last ferry left at 7 p.m. so we weren't over there too long. I'm thinking of when just BJ and I could go back. Although I think Jackson would enjoy it.

Here are some pictures I took! What a great way to spend a Wednesday afternoon!

Looks like you had a great time! I've only been there once with the kids and my parents and we loved it.
