Not only did I wow people with my karaoke skills this weekend (haha, that's a joke), BJ, Jackson and I went to the drag races on Friday night. That was the first time I had ever been to a race. Amazing! I had so much fun, I could have stayed there all night. Jackson did so good for about the first hour, then he got squirmy, so we left. We were there for about 2 hours.
On Sunday, we got out the sprinkler for Jackson and Lucy. They had a blast together. Jackson kept sitting on the sprinkler and Lucy kept attacking the water. We made Maddie stay in the house because she was not behaving -- she was time a doggy time out :) Oh, we event let Emma (our cat) have fun in the sprinkler. I was surprised, she didn't get mad. In fact, she just stood there.

There is just something about a yellow lab and water isn't there? I can't even keep ours out of bathtub and shower. The kids leave the door open when they are done and she hops right in to lick the water. I'm so glad Jackson likes his new puppy so much.
Lucy also likes to lay in her water dish and dump the water and play in it. It's soooo messy, but funny to watch :) Maddie is half lab, but she HATES the water.
